* Things Citizens Can Do Now!

One small action or comment might not seem like much, but if 100 (or 1000) Progressives are doing the same thing it can be "one giant voice" for democracy.

Here are some things individuals can do:

1. Vote and encourage other to vote. Carry voter registration forms in your car to share with
others who are not registered. We need to vote the corporatists out of office.
2. Contact your state and national elected officials regularly yourself. It is easy! Click HERE!
3. Go to MegaVote (HERE) and sign up for weekly update on how your national officials vote.

4. Go to Progressive Punch (HERE) for congressional voting records in 14 categories!
5. Start your own online petition on a subject of interest to you or support the petitions others have started. Click HERE for details.
6. 'Move Your Money' from a 'big corporate' bank to a local credit union. Click HERE for info.
7. Check out the Stand Up 4 Democracy website (click HERE) and share it with others.
8. Keep progressive ideas front and center with a
letter to the editor. Click HERE for ideas for such a letter. Click HERE for newspaper contact info for your area!
9. If you have a website, put links to progressive daily/weekly newsletters on your site. Click HERE for an example.
10. Put a 4-6 sign in your car window supporting a state or national progressive action.

11. Here is a list of other specific thing you can do! (please help add to the list)
